Can’t go a day without cooking. But where is the time to worry about the beauty of the house? We store in the fridge if not the extended stuff. But the kitchen cabinet was filled with biscuits, drinks, sauces. Then you have to face a lot of problems to find things when you need them. So keeping them a little organized can save you from getting into trouble. Below are some simple cooking tips for organizing and storing things in the kitchen –

  • Many recipes call for roasting peanuts or cashew nuts. But frying nuts requires a lot of oil. Eating so much oil is not good for the body. If you apply a little oil to the almonds and stir them in a dry pan, the oil will be much less.
  • Cutting or grinding chillies irritates the hands. Apply cold milk. The burning will accumulate. Or wash it down with cold milk. Give cold milk even if your hands are burnt. Blisters will not fall, irritation will also decrease.
  • If you want to eat raw vegetables in a salad or in any other way, wash them and soak them in equal amounts of water and vinegar. Use only after soaking for a while. It does not infect germs.
  • If you find that there are no eggs while making the cake, don’t panic. Use one tablespoon of milk and two teaspoons of cornflour for each egg.

  • Many times the milk curdles when making a paste with date jaggery. In that case, when the milk thickens, cool it a little and mix jaggery. Boil it once more and it will smell wonderful.
  • Mixing Mayan in luchi flour, when it is seen that the flour becomes crunchy after cooking, then it should be understood that the amount of Mayan is correct.
  • Another good way to make pickles is to heat the oil first and then use it cold, as there is no chance of rancidity. It is better not to use raw oil.
  • Always add a little vinegar to the oil while making pickles. The pickle will be good and the pieces of mango or whatever is pickled will stay intact.
  • Rub with salt to remove brown stains from teacups.
  • If the burn is very old, mix two tablespoons of baking soda, half a cup of vinegar and a cup of water and boil for ten minutes, after which the stain will be removed by dusting well.
  • If you reheat cooked food after eating, there is a possibility of burning the lower part. However, if you put water in a pot and place the pot with food on it, it will be heated properly and will not burn.
  • If you mix a little oil with water while cooking the noodles, you will see that the noodles are neat.
  • Ripe tomatoes become soft when kept indoors. If you want to harden soft tomatoes, soak them in salt water for a while. You will see that the tomatoes have become hard.
  • If ghee is kept in the house for a long time, it will smell a little. If you keep a piece of jaggery in a cup of ghee, you will see that the real smell of ghee will remain for a long time.
  • A small amount of raw salt sprinkled while frying the onions will brown them quickly.
  • If the curd becomes too sour, pour the curd in a thin cloth and hang it for 10-15 minutes. When the water drains, add milk or water to the curd portion. There will be no sour taste.
  • You can use bread crumbs instead of baking powder in food.
  • To clean the excess oil or ghee used in cooking, keep heating with a piece of potato.
