Ingredients:

3-4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 cup green peas, boiled and mashed
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1/4 cup cilantro leaves, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes and green peas. Add the bread crumbs, onion, green chilies, cilantro leaves, ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Shape the mixture into small round balls and flatten them into tikki shapes. Make sure the tikkis are not too thin or they may break while frying.

Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, gently place the tikkis in the pan and fry until they are golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels to remove any excess oil.

Serve the Aloo Tikkis hot with mint chutney or tamarind chutney.

Enjoy your delicious and crispy Aloo Tikki snack!
