Easy chicken 65 recipe

Chicken 65 is a popular Indian appetizer that is spicy and crispy. Here’s a recipe to make it at home:
Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken pieces, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornflour
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for deep frying
- Curry leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add the chicken cubes, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, soy sauce and salt. Mix well and set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and cornflour together. Add a pinch of salt and water to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Dip the marinated chicken cubes in the batter and deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Heat a little oil in a pan and add the curry leaves. Fry for a few seconds until fragrant and then add the fried chicken pieces. Toss well to coat the chicken with the curry leaves and serve hot.
