Materials

Lachcha semai

Cornflower

Liquid milk

Condensed milk

Unsalted butter

Vanilla essence

Chocolate essence

Food color (optional)

Chocolate bits

Preparation method

First spread dry lachcha semai in a tray. Now take four tablespoons of cornflower, half a cup of powdered milk, four cups of liquid milk, 1/4 cup of condensed milk in a pot. All the ingredients should be mixed well so that there are no lumps. Now burn it in the oven and thicken it. The stove flame will be low to medium. When thickened, add 10 grams of unsalted butter and half a teaspoon of vanilla essence. If the consistency is not very thick but the roll will not be set properly.

Now pour it hot in the tray and layer it on the lachcha semai. It will not be possible to spread evenly when it is cold. Equalize with a spatula or a convenient spoon. Then you have to hold the tray and shake it. There will be no bubbles inside it. Now make a cream. For this, take half a cup of whipping cream, 3 tablespoons of condensed milk in a bowl. Beat it to make it foamy consistency. When it becomes a lot of foam, add chocolate essence and a little rose food color. Now make a layer with this cream and put it in the tray. Equalize with a knife. Shake again and set. Top with some lachcha semai and chocolate bits.

Now you have to cut it to the desired size. Now check if it is ready to roll. If it is a little softer, it is better not to roll. In that case you have to set it in the fridge for a while and then roll it. Take it out of the fridge and roll it. It is very fluffy so you have to do the work gently. Creamy soft Turkish roll was made. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. And the taste? The thick milky buttery flavor, some vanilla, some chocolate flavor and the taste of fried lachcha semai. If such a different taste is found in the mouth, then what else can be kept in the mind, the mind will be lost. Then make this Eid and get lost in the middle of a mind blowing Turkish roll.
